Building on the Online AI Tutorials held in 2025, MASTAA will relaunch the program in 2026 with a two-level online series.

  • Level 1: Scheduled for February 2026, this course introduces foundational AI concepts and practical applications.
  • Level 2: Scheduled for March 2026, this course builds on Level 1 and explores more advanced topics and use cases.

MASTAA Extends Christmas and New Year Wishes to Our Community

On November 30, 2025, we had the privilege of hosting an inspiring and thought-provoking session with Dr. Padetha, who shared his remarkable journey from Burma to NASA.
Drawing from his personal and professional experiences, Dr. Padetha offered practical and motivating insights aimed at empowering young people who aspire to shape the future through education, innovation, and perseverance. The session encouraged participants to reflect on their own paths and to approach challenges with resilience and purpose. The event was warmly received and served as a meaningful opportunity for learning, inspiration, and intergenerational dialogue.

The program will be led by Dr. Tun Aung Gyaw, a distinguished RIT alumnus and former UCC Associate Professor, and is designed to guide participants from foundational knowledge to the evolving AI landscape. MASTAA has launched a fundraising efforts for the humanitarian relief efforts following the devastating earthquake in Mandalay, Myanmar. This fund will help provide essential resources, including food, shelter, and medical assistance, to families in dire need.

At this time there are so many families in Mandalay, Sagaing, Naypyidaw and other cities who are suffering unthinkable disaster, and there is so much more requirement in helping the needs than you can think of. We really need your help and generosity to provide for the suffering people in Myanmar.

MASTAA is running a donation drive for the first time to support former UCC colleagues and teachers with health problems. Our teachers and colleagues are aging, and back home in Myanmar it is very difficult to keep up with the rising health care costs. The organization is making a good effort to assist them.
Donors who donate through the organization will receive an official receipt from MASTAA for their tax deductions. In addition, your donation of $500 or more will also receive a Certificate of Acknowledgement from MASTAA.
After the fund-raising drive is completed, we will transfer the funds in accordance with 501(c)3 rules and regulations, to the beneficiary Ex-UCC health support organization in Myanmar, and obtain their acknowledgement of receipt.

In response to the devastating 2019 monsoon floods affecting over 200,000 people in Myanmar, MASTAA’s Board of Directors approved emergency aid and donated $1,000 to the Daw Khin Kyi Foundation to support relief and recovery efforts.
