Dr. Padetha Tin is the Project Scientist for the Liquid Crystal Facility (LCF), a new experiment facility in development for the ISS.

LCF is a multi-user facility that will enable a wide range of liquid crystal research in µg to better understand the underlying physics of the formulation, manufacturing, and application of liquid crystals.

Padetha was previously the Project Scientist for the Observation & Analysis of Smectic Islands in Space (OASIS) experiment that flew on the ISS.

His expertise in the areas of laser spectroscopy and optical sensors is applied to the development of scientific instruments to deliver maximum science return from µg experiments.
